Adding authorship in search results seems much easier than before.
If you want your authorship information to be shown for the content you wrote, you will first need a Google+ account with a ‘decent’ profile picture, and then verify the authorship of your account by connecting the page you created and your personal Google+ account. Previously you will need to create a short html tag like this: <a rel=”author” href=”[Your URL]“>[Author's name]</a>
However it seems Google has more intelligence to verify the content. Users do not need to add that code. It’s good because not all users are comfortable with html codings.
